Today, Gregg Hull announced the rollout of his comprehensive issues platform for Governor, outlining a results-driven agenda focused on public safety, education accountability, healthcare reform, and economic opportunity for families across New Mexico.

“New Mexico faces serious challenges, but we also have tremendous opportunity,” Hull said. “This campaign is about clear priorities, measurable results, and leadership that puts families first. Our issues platform lays out a straightforward path to make our communities safer, improve our schools, expand access to healthcare, and grow our economy.”
Public Safety
Hull’s platform prioritizes strengthening law enforcement, enhancing border security to combat fentanyl trafficking, and establishing a zero-tolerance approach to violent crime and crimes against children. As Mayor of Rio Rancho, Hull oversaw more than a doubling of the police budget and led one of the safest cities in the state.
Education – Kids Come First Plan
Hull’s education agenda centers on accountability and outcomes. His Kids Come First Plan calls for tying a portion of education funding to measurable improvements in literacy, math, and graduation rates, while working with the Legislature to ensure reforms benefit students statewide. The plan emphasizes that education success should be measured by student achievement, not spending levels.
Healthcare Reform
Hull’s healthcare platform addresses both urban and rural access challenges. He proposes reforming New Mexico’s medical malpractice laws, advocating for competitive reimbursement rates, lowering prescription drug costs, supporting expanded medical compacts, and launching targeted recruitment and retention programs for healthcare professionals. A key focus is protecting and fostering rural hospitals and clinics to ensure communities can access care close to home.
Economic Growth and Opportunity
Hull’s platform also highlights job creation, responsible fiscal management, and policies designed to make New Mexico more competitive for businesses and working families. The agenda focuses on lowering barriers to growth while ensuring communities remain safe and affordable.
“This is just the beginning,” Hull added. “In the weeks ahead, we will continue outlining specific policy proposals that light the path forward for the state we all love.”
