SANTA FE, New Mexico – Mayor Gregg Hull today officially filed his paperwork and submitted the required signatures to qualify for the Republican primary election for Governor of New Mexico, formally securing his place on the GOP primary ballot as the first candidate to file.
Hull’s filing marks a significant milestone for his campaign and reflects growing grassroots support from New Mexicans who are ready for new leadership focused on public safety, education accountability, and economic opportunity.
“Today is about making it official – and about the thousands of New Mexicans who signed on because they believe our state can do better,” Hull said. “Families are struggling with crime, failing schools, and a lack of opportunity. I’m running to put kids first, restore accountability, and bring serious, results-driven leadership to Santa Fe.”
Since launching his campaign, Hull has traveled the state meeting with voters, community leaders, and parents concerned about the direction of New Mexico. His campaign has emphasized practical solutions, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to outcomes rather than politics as usual.
The GOP primary election for Governor will be held on June 2.
