SANTA FE, New Mexico – Gregg Hull’s campaign for governor of New Mexico announced today that the New Mexico Secretary of State has officially confirmed his candidacy, qualifying Hull for placement on the June primary ballot.
Hull, the mayor of Rio Rancho, said the confirmation marks an important step forward for a campaign focused on results-driven leadership and restoring confidence in state government.
“This campaign has always been about bringing proven leadership and common-sense management to Santa Fe,” Hull said. “Qualifying for the ballot means we can now take that message directly to voters across New Mexico and continue building the strongest possible campaign.”
As mayor of Rio Rancho, Hull has emphasized responsible budgeting, public safety, and economic growth, leading one of the state’s fastest-growing cities through a period of expansion while maintaining fiscal discipline during his 12 years in office. His campaign for governor centers on applying that same approach statewide.
The confirmation by the New Mexico Secretary of State clears the way for Hull to compete in the June primary election.
“Our focus now is on reaching voters in every corner of the state and making the case for steady, accountable leadership,” Hull said. “New Mexico deserves a governor who understands how to manage, lead, and deliver results.”
