Getting an early start this morning as we head to Southeast New Mexico!

Along the way, I’ll be making a stop in Orla, Texas, to tour the Texas Pacific Water Resources Fractional Freeze Desalination Facility and learn more about innovative technologies that could help address our water challenges.

With New Mexico’s water conditions where they are today, we cannot afford to wait for a crisis. We need to be looking at **every available option**—conservation, reuse, desalination, new technology, and smarter long-term water management.

New Mexico’s future depends on a reliable and sustainable water supply for our families, farmers, communities, and economy.
