On Friday, I had the opportunity to meet with the New Mexico School Boards Association beautiful Taos to discuss one of the most important responsibilities we have as a state—providing every child with a quality education.

I appreciated the thoughtful conversation with school board members from across New Mexico about the challenges facing our schools and the opportunities to improve student achievement, support our teachers, and ensure local communities have a strong voice in education.

As Governor, I will work alongside our educators, school boards, parents, and communities to deliver real results for our students. New Mexico’s children deserve proven leadership, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in education.
