ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – Gregg Hull, the Republican nominee for Governor of New Mexico, today announced the endorsement of fellow Republican primary candidate Doug Turner. Hull called the endorsement a sign of a unified Republican Party ready to take on Democrats in November.
In a social media post, Turner said, “Congratulations to Gregg Hull on an impressive victory. He has my full support in the general election.”
“Doug Turner ran a serious, substantive campaign, and I have a great deal of respect for him and the race he ran,” said Hull. “He got in this race because he loves New Mexico and wants to see it succeed – and that is exactly the kind of passion and commitment we need on our team heading into November. I am proud to have his support, and I welcome his supporters with open arms. We are united, and we are ready to win.”
Turner, an Albuquerque native and communications professional, campaigned on a platform of fiscal reform, public safety, education, and economic growth. His supporters represent a broad coalition of voters ready to move New Mexico in a new direction.
Hull thanked Turner for his service to the Republican cause and pledged to run a general election campaign that reflects the values and priorities Turner’s supporters care about – including lower taxes, safer communities, better schools, and an economy that works for every New Mexican.
